- Crawford County, OH selects Alert Tracking Systems Inc. to provide County Wide 9-1-1 system
- HILLIARD, OH (March 12, 2009) - Alert Tracking Systems (AlertTS), a provider of multi-agency public safety software solutions, announces that it has entered into a contract with Crawford County, Ohio, to implement a state-of-the-art, county wide VOIP 9-1-1 system. The new system will interface with the county’s RESPONDER™, computer aided dispatch software and will allow the 9-1-1 answering points to share caller information, as well as providing backup for each other in a situation where one answering point may be busy.
"AlertTS true multi-agency solution and its integration with the computer aided dispatch system will allow Crawford County to move toward the requirements of next generation 9-1-1", said Tim Flock, Crawford County’s Director of Emergency Management and 911 coordinator. "This new system will provide us with a platform that will enhance citizen safety, and provide for a more intelligent use of tax payer dollars. After a thorough research and evaluation process, the AlertTS solution was a clear choice."
With the purchase of the AlertTS 9-1-1 system, Crawford County will have an integrated, state-of-the-art, multi-agency system, that will improve 9-1-1 caller response time, enhance accuracy, and allow for agency personnel to better serve and protect the community.
